History

DuTrac Community Credit Union was chartered in 1946 to provide financial services to the employees of John Deere Dubuque Tractor Works. DuTrac started with one office within the plant with 56 members, a little over $2000 in deposits and outstanding loans of $1195.

The Credit Union was founded by John Deere Dubuque Tractor Works employees who wanted to offer their fellow coworkers an alternative to commercial banks and other for-profit financial institutions.

Since 1986, DuTrac has enjoyed serving individuals and families in a 21-county area. Anyone living or working in one of these counties or anyone having a family member that is already a member of DuTrac Community Credit Union can join. We welcome your membership!

Over the 65-plus years DuTrac has been in existence, DuTrac has grown into a modern, full-service financial institution offering a broad range of products and services to fit a variety of member preferences and lifestyles serving more than 43,000 members with assets of over $600 million.

Although we have grown into a state-of-the-art financial institution, our staff still bring to you that individual, local service you and your family expect - and deserve. Bottom line: we serve you and are your partners in helping you achieve your financial goals and dreams.

As a not-for-profit organization, DuTrac’s sole purpose is to bring benefits to our members and their families through no- or low-cost services, lower loan rates and higher savings rates.

Safe and Sound. Your money and DuTrac are both safe and sound. As a member, your accounts are insured to at least $250,000 through the NCUA (National Credit Union Administration), a U.S. government agency.

So relax, sit back, and let DuTrac Community Credit Union take care of life’s and your financial details.
