Soon we will be sitting inside our warm and cozy homes while the chilling wind blows outside. All the while, the homeless are trying to keep warm. According to the National Alliance to End Homelessness, families with children maku up about half of the homeless population over the course of the year. With that in mind, DuTrac is asking Savasaurus Club members to act out the credit union philosophy of "People Helping People" by donating new socks, gloves, mittens, hats, scarves and other essential items for children and adults to assist in providing some added warmth to those in need during the winter months. Please remember that all socks, mittens and gloves should be new.
For every pair of socks, gloves, mittens or winter items dropped off by a Savasaurus Club member, your name will be placed into a drawing for a Kindle Reader.
Drop off your socks, mitten or gloves at any of DuTrac's convenient locations by Thursday, November 20, 2014.
