DepositAccounts.com, a subsidiary of LendingTree, has released its list of 2021 Health Grades for credit unions and banks in the United States. DuTrac Community Credit Union has earned an A+ rating.
Each quarter, the organization evaluates the financial health of more than 4,000 federally insured bank and nearly 3,000 federally insured credit unions in the country. The information is a service to consumers so they can feel confident and make informed decisions when selecting where they bank.
A comprehensive health score is calculated, as each institution is graded on several factors including capitalization, deposit growth, and loan-to-reserve ratios. Only 11 percent of all financial institutions receive an A+ health rating.
“These rankings provide valuable information to consumers, and we are very proud of our A+ health and stability score,” said Jason Norton, DuTrac’s Senior Vice President Marketing and Business Development. “For our members this recognition reflects our excellence in managing our assets.”
